The ReDS™ Wearable System is intended for the measurement and monitoring of lung fluid. The system is intended to be operated by healthcare providers and by patients in the hospital, clinic and home environments. ReDS is intended to be used as an adjunct parameter to standard clinical assessment methods. Lung fluid content can be assessed in normal and pathological states such as pulmonary edema due to congestive heart failure, kidney failure, hypertensive crisis, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) or others.
ReDS™ is intended for use by qualified health care practitioners and by patients, under the direction of a physician, in hospitals, hospital-type facilities and home environments, for the noninvasive monitoring and management of patients with fluid management problems in a variety of medically accepted clinical applications.
